Curtin WA’s #1 for undergraduate full-time employment and starting salary

Curtin University has again outranked all other public universities in Western Australia for undergraduate outcomes in full-time employment and starting salary, as well as staff qualifications, in the Good Universities Guide 2022.

In addition to continued five star ratings in Learning Resources (undergraduate and postgraduate), Curtin also achieved new five stars in multiple categories, including:

  • Student Demand; and
  • Educational Experience: Teaching quality (postgraduate).

For the third consecutive year, medicine at Curtin has been ranked the best in Australia, rated number one in the country for learner engagement, skills development and teaching quality.

Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne said this year’s impressive results are further confirmation of Curtin’s steadfast commitment to its students.

“The results cement Curtin’s place as the top performer in producing career- and life-ready graduates in WA, and also propel us into a new top tier, with students rating Curtin a five star university of choice,” Professor Hayne said.

“The high rating for student demand, which is based on where they choose to study, is testament to Curtin’s outstanding reputation for learning and teaching experience and for ticking all the boxes when it comes to what students want and need from a university.

“I’m also particularly delighted that Curtin Medical School continues to deliver an outstanding experience for our students, the very best in Australia, as we prepare to congratulate our first cohort of graduates later this year.”
